Roznov pod Radhostem (25 km)
A church from the 18th century.
Craftmanship museum, the oldest of Central Europe. Presentation of an old village build in wood, and different old craft, plant and farm aniůal growing. Nice walk all around.
Pustevny (20 km)
Skiing resort 1098 m high. 10 lifts and 11 tracks for all sking levels. Nice trecking in Summer.
Utulny Libusin a Mamenka
First cottages build specially for touristic purpose in 1894, based on the project of the architect Dusan Jurkovic.
Radegast
On the top of Radhost stands the statue of the god of the crops Radegast, with a bull head and the horn of wealth. The statue was made in 1930 by the sculptor Albin Polasek from Frenstat, who donated it to the region´s people. The original is in the town hall.
The Chapel of Cyril and Methode
Also settled on the top of Radhost (1129 m), where they are said to have been preaching.
The chapel is lighted bz 8 windows representing scenes of the life of the two preachers and of other Czech holz patrons. Above the altar, an old picture of a moravian virgin.
Frenstat pod Radhostem (20 km)
Interesting old chapels from the 17th century qdjoining to the wall of the cemetry and an old baroque cross from 1753.
Stramberk
Old village founded in 1359. Ruins of an old castle from the 13th century, with part of the walls and observation tower.Unique architectural monument. The tower was restored in 1903 to be used as a touristic observation tower nowadays.
